Speedy ten years rally history
For Juha it all started when he was a little boy watching how his parents measured their skills in rally cross. As years went by he seeked his way into the world of speedy motorsport - rallying!
His rally career started at the time when his brother Tomi bought RWD Opel Ascona. Together Tomi and Juha serviced the car for the events. In the middle of 90'ies Tomi was driving and Juha was co-driving. At 1998 in Suonenjoki Mansikkapaikka rally the roles changed as Juha steered 3rd position as in B-junior competition. Now 10 years later Häkkinen is still in same path - taking steps towards professionality.

In season 1999 Juha Häkkinen made convicing results by being in top-3 in every event he participated. He was victorious in three of seven events. Due good results he gained the position of A-junior.

First season of new millenium continued like it has been for past two seasons. Häkkinen participated into eight rounds and was six times in top-2 position. He was forced to retire in two events.

Due excellent results Häkkinen found his way into the top class of Finnish national rally scene. Due improved speed he upgraded his rally car for group-A Nissan Sunny GTi. Häkkinen rallied in 12 events and finished eight times in top-4. For two times he was forced to retire. At the end of the season he was given bronze medal in first season of Finnish Rally Championship series. However the big dissapointment in WRC Finland was blistering in his mind.

Season 2002 was a big dissapointment for young rally driver. Häkkinen tried to gain success with several rally cars like Peugeot 206 Super1600. However technical difficulties caused many retirements. At the end of the season Häkkinen was in sixth position of Finnish Rally Championship. Once again Häkkinen retired the main event for the season - WRC Finland was over due technical difficulties.

At the end of very dissapointing season Juha had to re-think of his rally career. For few years he forgot rallying and concentrated into his studies, work and families. For seasons 2003-2005 Häkkinen was intensively working with John Deere. Nowadays he's an international demo-driver for John Deere and an entrepneur in earth moving business.
In season 2006 it was time to make a comeback for rallying. It was time to return into special stages with 4WD and turbo charged Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution rally car. Häkkinen rallied in international rallies in Finland and Nedherlands. He gained his best-ever result by being 3rd fastest group-N driver in WRC Finland.
